Aena scored 69 (out of 100) in the 2025 S&P Global Corporate Sustainability Assessment, with a score of 83 (out of 100) in the Environmental Dimension (CSA Scores as of 11/02/2026). Aena maintains its inclusion in the Dow Jones Best-in-Class World and Europe Indices in 2026. Aena is honored to be included 2026 S&P Global Sustainability Yearbook as Member in Transportation and Transportation Infrastructure industry.

CDP is a global non-profit that runs the world’s only independent environmental disclosure system, which recognizes the ongoing commitment to combating climate change and the actions taken to decarbonize and protect the environment.

Aena is a constituent company in the FTSE4Good Index Series of FTSE Russell and has obtained the highest score, a 5 out of 5, for the last three consecutive years.The FTSE4Good Index Series is designed to identify companies that demonstrate strong environmental, social and governance practices measured against globally recognized standards.

ISS

In 2026, Aena maintains its "Prime" category in the ISS ESG Corporate Rating, surpassing the ESG criteria established in its sector.

In October 2025, Aena received an ESG Risk Rating of 12.5 and was assessed by Morningstar sustainalytics to be at Low risk of experiencing material financial impacts from ESG factors*.

Aena is included for the third consecutive year in the “Europe’s Climate Leaders” ranking, a list that includes the 600 European companies that achieved the greatest reduction in their carbon emissions and made climate-related commitments. In 2025, Aena holds the 24th position in the ranking. Europe’s Climate Leaders is a list compiled by the Financial Times in partnership with data provider Statista, which aims to highlight European companies that are making progress in cutting greenhouse gas emissions.

Aena has been included in 2025, for the second consecutive year, in the Ibex ESG Index of Bolsas y Mercados Españoles (BME) which recognizes it as one of the most sustainable and responsible companies in Spain. Aena has also been part of the IBEX Gender Equality Index since its creation in 2021.

Aena is included in the Merco rankings for Companies, Responsibility ESG and Talent, ranking first in the latter in its sector, Infrastructure, Services, and Construction. Merco (Corporate Reputation Business Monitor) is the leading corporate monitor in Spain and Latin America, conducting a comprehensive evaluation characterized by the transparency, independence, and rigor of its methodology. Companies are evaluated based on their financial results, the quality of their commercial offering, innovation, ethics and transparency, reputation, talent, and international reach.

The company reaffirms its commitment to the 10 principles of the Global Compact. Furthermore, Aena is actively participating in various courses and events.

The company reaffirms its collaboration with the SERES Foundation to remain at the cutting-edge of best practice in the field.

Aena, as an active member of the Climate Change Cluster and leader of the Ethics and Good Governance Cluster, joins the best companies in the sector.

The Science-Based Targets initiative (SBTi) drives ambitious climate action in the private sector by ensuring that companies set science-based emission reduction targets. In 2024, Aena received validation for its short- and longterm targets within the Business Ambition for 1.5°C.

The NetZero2050 initiative by ACI Europe currently includes an agreement from 324 airports managed by 104 operators in 38 European countries, all of which have committed to achieving net-zero carbon emissions from operations under their control by 2050. Of these, 132 airports have set the target for achieving this goal before 2030. Aena is part of this agreement, having increased its level of ambition in 2023 and brought forward its commitment to 2030.

It is the carbon footprint certification program of Airport Council International (ACI), which accredits the calculation of airports’ carbon footprints and the progress of their CO2 emissions reduction commitments. Approximately 94% of the network’s emissions are certified under this program, achieving level 4 at: MAD, BCN y PMI. The commitment is being certified in 2026 with 19 airports at level 4+ and 19 airports at level 5 by 2030.
