Whenever engaging in business within the communities where it operates, AENA safeguards human rights and creates mechanisms to guarantee their protection.

The protection of human rights is an essential pillar of the corporate culture and represents the minimum framework for action to ensure the legitimate development of business activity.

Besides the commitments made at an international and national level, the AENA Human Rights Policy embodies a commitment at the highest level to the protection of human, employment and environmental rights.

Applicable to the entire business group, the AENA Human Rights Policy establishes the action principles for the company on this topic and lays the foundations for their development, oversight, control and review.

AENA has the necessary mechanisms in place to tackle exposure to the possible breach of human rights and to provide solutions capable of mitigating and/or correction potential negative impacts on human rights. The systems for regulatory compliance, due diligence and risk management are strengthened by the Sustainability Strategy, which includes development of a human rights due diligence procedure.
