César Manrique-Lanzarote airport, located 5 kilometers from Arrecife, is of outstanding importance in the extraordinary tourist development of the island.

The majority of the airport traffic corresponds to the European countries. The UK and Germany account for more than 60 percent of international traffic.

National traffic is concentrated in three destinations: Gran Canaria, Adolfo Suárez Madrid-Barajas and Tenerife North.
